A very fine quality 17th Century Spanish Main Gauche, the hilt with turned pommel, plain wooden grip, finely turned quillions(27cm Long in total) & the guard with fine floral engraved decoration on the outside and a finely engraved re-enforced panel on the inside. The 44 cm blade with fine cut steel decoration along the back edge, the ricasso with similar decoration &  with incised lines and punch work & stamped with an armourer mark, a letter B on either side
