A very nice early 19th Century French Military Flintlock Year 9 Carbine (Mousqueton de Cavalerie Modele an 9).

The carbine with date stamps for 1812 on both the barrel breach and in a cartouche stamped on the side of the wooden stock near the butt.

Overall in very good untouched condition & with good markings, the only small fault we can find is that it is lacking a ring from the saddle bar but otherwise it is a very nice example& well worthy of any collection.
