A good quality English Late 17th/early 18th Century Saw-back Hunting Hanger. The hanger with 44cm curved saw-back blade marked on both sides with the "Running Wolf" mark. The iron hilt with "D" shaped knuckle bow decorated with floral designs on either side, staghorn grip surmounted with an Iron pommel with incised designs around the edge along with a flower design around the  tang button, the turned down shell guard with a worked panel depicting a  gentleman rider on horseback wearing a long coat & brimmed hat.
