An M1842 Pattern French Yataghan Bayonet with its  very rare original Artillery buff leather belt with brass fittings, the buckle comprising of a snake clasp with two brass roundels one either side of the clasp, each depicting crossed cannons with a flaming grenade above and a pile of cannon balls below. On the inside of the leather of the belt it is stamped with original regimental markings on the "1ST. ART AP. No 1664-54"
