A  British 1796 pattern infantry officers sword with a very nice 32.5" single edged blue and gilt blade. Over all the sword is in an unleaned state and would benefit from a light clean. The brass knuckle bow and finial have both taken a knock and the leather scabbard has a break below the throat mount. This is a very sleepy untouched sword and deserves a little tender care.Overall length 39".
