A good pair of Austrian military type wheellock pistols manufactured circa 1640. Th pistols measure 21.5" overall & with 13" octagonal barrels.These pistols have similar charecteristics to other pistols manufactured in Ferlach which is the most southern town in Austria. Baby Egg O/U Flintlock Pistol
A very rare silver mounted over & under flintlock Pistol of petite form manufactured by Joseph Egg of London. The engraved silver butt cap is mounted with a gold plaque depicting the Prince of Wales Feathers. The re- browned octagonal barrels engraved with the makers name in gold on the top barrel and engraved with his address No1 Piccadilly London on the lower barrel. Brass Barrelled Ships Deck Gun
A blunderbuss of massive proportions which would have been used as a deck gun on a ship. The gun has a brass barrel & brass lock plate and bears no makers marks. The stock is marked OVD on the butt which could relate to the "Dutch East India Co". A Falkirk Cannon(Carronade)
A 19th Century iron cannon mounted on its original wooden carriage. The barrel is approx 4' long and is marked on the breech FALKIRK 2PR( 2 Pounder). The cannon barrel has been painted silver and appears to be in good order underneath the paint. The carriage is in quite good overall condition although weathered and there is minor perishing the wheels.This type of cannon was manufactured by the Carron Company of Falkirk and it was known as a Carronade.
