| A Waterloo medal presented to William Hill 1st Rifle Brigade(95th)
Traced as Pte on muster rolls for the Leicestershire Militia in 1809.volunteered to serve as a Pte with the 1st Btn 95 Rifles on 31st march 1809 and promoted to Corporal 25th Aug 1809. Served in Portugal 25th June 1809 to June 1810. He was prooted to seSergeant 25th Sept 1811 ,in England June 1810 to March 1815. Served at Waterloo with the 1st Rifle Brigade and promoted to Quarter Master Sergeant 25th Aug 1816. He served in North America 9th July 1825 to March 1826 and promoted to Quater Master Dec 1826, to half pay 29th March 1829.
