A English silver hilted spadroon. The hilt with silver hallmarks and with a reeded ivory grip,the knuckle bow engraved with the initials "LRCS". The 27.25" blade with traces of decoration. The leather scabbard which has been varnished to stiffen the leather with two silver mounts the throat mount with traces of makers name.
