| Unusual Door Lock Alarm Gun |
| A very unusual 19th century Spanish door lock incorparating two pinfire pistols.The lock has two dead bolts and each bolt can be set by key to four different positions and if the key is turned one turn to many when unlocking the door depending on how the combination is set it fires one pistol and this is the same for the second bolt which is opened from the second key hole.Both pistols have rifled barrels and would be able to accept live cartridges but would probably have been used with blank cartridges which would alert the owner to the intruders attempt to access the room fitted with the lock.
